Black was never on my list, some people may find it difficult to digest...but thats me for you!The reason being that black 200 doesn't stand-out like other colors and one thinks its a 180. So that left me with Red,Blue and silver(Grey) options.Very limited choice I must add.Bajaj should really consider adding more colors.
Out of these colors, silver was striked out because my previous bike was silver. So the actual contest was between red and blue.(Both are superb mind you.And are different than Pulsar150's colors).ProBiking on that day had 3 different 200's in 3 different colors on display, barring blue. The red one was standing in innermost corner beneath those whitish yellow spot-lights and god!was I taken away by the beauty. After that fabulous first impression it was a real simple decision and we right away booked a red one, with those color fading rumors not withstanding!(And judging by the color quality I don't think the color will fade away)
Black P200.Looks like a beast. But for onlookers its just another 180.
Silver is a pretty neat option. Not many people go for it,and that makes her very exclusive.
Red is my personal favorite.Black styling is best suited to red panels.
Blue was second on my list after red.Its a nice color overall.

thanks for the silver model's picture..
ReplyDeletealways welcome dude
ReplyDeleteThanks for the silver model dude. but i am still confused.. with which color should i go with.. ? plz help me out dude.
ReplyDeletethe silver colored 200 looks very neat.
ReplyDeleteI had silver colored bike before, and I can tell you one advantage of that color. It doesnt get that dirty as black/red/blue.The dirt gets hidden as color is pretty light. However in case of darker colors, dirt is very much visible.
besides there are not many silver P200s on road. That makes the color exclusive :)
Thanks for the suggestion dude. actually i am just having R1 right now. and it creates a lot of pain in traffic. so i thought to go with pulsar... thanks a lot dude..
ReplyDeleteohhkay , no problem :)
ReplyDeletei cant understand which colour to buy......dont you think silver looks untidy????
ReplyDeletenot really, silver is very understated. If you like something which is not very flashy and yet looks attractive, silver is the one.
ReplyDeleteotherwise black and red are very good colors.
bajaj 200cc is like jet, within no time it will take you away from crowd.
ReplyDeleteas well firing is fantastic(what most bikers love).

Dude the Pulsar or better known as the Rouser has only 2 colors released here in the Philippines. I'm thinking of getting one in the future, hope that by reading your blogs I'll get convinced that the Pulsar is a good buy bike.

midas,
ReplyDeletewhich 2 colors are launched? can you mail me the pictures of 'Rouser/Pulsar' in Philippines?
thanks :)/
Hi Maritime Mania
ReplyDeleteunicorn is a good bike, make no mistake there. the only thing that goes against it is looks and overall image- does not look enuf sporty.
as for new 150, i think it will be as good as any other previous pulsar if not more. with added features, its good deal. Also, remember that colors for 150 are different than 200/220.
The 150 has metallic shades while 200/220 have solid hues. So they look quite different. For 150 you can go for either blue or black.
மு௫க பக்தன் ,
ReplyDeletethanks! :) wat was the name btw? :)
Dude. The Pulsar aka Rouser colors released are Blue and Black (only!). They look pretty much the same as the ones released there in India.
ReplyDeleteThe only difference is the Engine Guard at the Rails at the Rear are already taken out by Kawasaki Phils (price cutting) to make it fall below 100k. Just to make it very affordable.
I think the 07 model like the one you have is the one released here.
Dude can you give me more advices or tips, I'm planning on getting one soon. Need some more enlightenment.
Btw, I've read from some of my friends from MCP that their Rousers are hard starting. Is because of the killswitch? ever experienced electronical problems?
Lastly, driving the Pulsar / Rouser for a long time causes hand cramps? Ever experienced this? :D
Thanks a lot Bro.
